Travelling seems to be the last thing on our minds right now, with daily warnings about meeting social distancing guidelines and wearing masks to combat Covid-19. These tough times are taking away our desire to travel to new places, see breathtaking sights, and visit the countryside.
As most countries' borders have been closed to tourists, international travel has become a long-forgotten fantasy.
But if you are planning to travel, just remember to take all the precautionary measures, including a 14-day home quarantine is a must at most places.
Some places are now allowing visitors from other states to enter without a COVID-19 negative report and a mandatory quarantine.
So, here is a list of places from which can be your next destination.
• Goa:
The beach state welcomes visitors from all over the world. You are not required to submit any testing, just submit any documentation, and follow 14 days quarantine.

• Himachal Pradesh:
For those seeking refuge in the mountains, Himachal Pradesh has opened its borders to visitors without any quarantine restrictions.

The area is alive with serene forests, monasteries, temples, and valleys, as well as a diverse and exciting variety of adventure sports.
• Uttarakhand:
The government has now permitted tourists to visit Uttarakhand, making it a great choice for mountain lovers to reach the state without having COVID negative documentation or being subjected to quarantine. However, registration on the government portal is needed.
Uttarakhand, a land of mountains and legends, is a stunning Indian state that never fails to astonish visitors. Hindus refer to it as Dev Bhoomi, or "Land of Gods," and it is easy to fall in love with it. • Pondicherry:
The union territory enables visitors to enter without having to have a COVID-19 negative result or go through quarantine. If anyone tests positive for the virus here or begins to exhibit symptoms, they must go to a government-run hospital.
Pondicherry is a French colonial centre in India, famous for its quaint colonial-style cafes, scenic promenades, and lively nightlife.
• Arunachal Pradesh:
At the state's entry stage, inter-state travellers will be screened for the virus (Rapid Antigen Test). Tourists who are asymptomatic or negative will enter the state and enjoy their stay while adhering to all COVID-19 steps.
Arunachal Pradesh literally translates to "land of the dawn-lit mountains." This wonderful holiday getaway, located in the easternmost part of the Indian Territory, is home to verdurous valleys and unparalleled aestheticism. The breathtaking scenic beauty of this treasure chest is enhanced by gushing waterfalls, crystal clear lakes, and picturesque mountain tops.
• Gujarat:
Those visiting Gujarat will be subjected to thermal screening. Quarantine would not be needed for those who have no symptoms.
The list of places to visit in Gujarat is long and exciting, ranging from the colonial ambience and architecture of Rajkot to historical sites of Indus Valley civilization times and ultra-modern cities like Ahmedabad, ancient cities like Dwarka, and jaw-dropping architectural feats like the Sardar Sarovar Dam.
• Karnataka:
Domestic passengers with no symptoms are exempt from quarantine.
Karnataka's geography and scenery make it a perfect destination for a wide range of fascinating tourist attractions and landmarks. • Ladakh:
If you intend to visit Ladakh for less than five days, a negative RT-PCR test will allow you to skip quarantine (72 hours old).
Ladakh is one of India's must-see attractions, with high mountain passes, barren mountains, alpine lakes and meadows, enchanting valleys, and ancient colourful Buddhist monasteries. It's the perfect gateway for nature lovers.
